Esther Sanchez-Pardo is an Associate Professor of English at Complutense University in Madrid (Spain). She works on Modernism and is interested in the intersection of literature, psychoanalysis and the visual arts. She has published Cultures of the Death Drive. Melanie Klein and Modernist Melancholia (2003). She is coauthor of Ophelia's Legacy. Schizotexts in Twentieth Century Women's Literature (2000) and has coedited Women, Identities and Poetry (1999) and Feeling the Worlds (2001). Her critical bilingual anthology of Mina Loy's poetry is forthcoming from Huerga y Fierro.
